VC - Sold

Here are some of the homes we have completely remodeled and renovated, perhaps saved from oblivion - ones which are now occupied by new owners who have started a new life there. We are proud of each and every one.

Milford - as quaint and cute as it can be and near town, nor far from Cooperstown and Oneonta, this was sold to a local young couple who'd rented too long and were ready for their own home.

Jordanville - one of our first, classic 4000ft2 home with columned front on nearly 12 acres, 2 barns, tiny pond, views that don't stop. Bought by artists from NYC.

Cobleskill- Beautiful one acre "farm" and a classic Greek Revival home, great location & views, new siding and floors, 9 rooms 2.5 baths, old-fashioned barn. First home for an older local couple.

Garrattsville - creek frontage, smaller home w/thorough renovation, bought by a gal just out of nursing school. Featured new insulation, new furnace, new septic, upgraded well as well as the usual improvements which make it look and feel good.

Ft. Plain 12 acres with great little horse barn in Amish country. Upgraded mobile home, sold to a gal who loves her horses and when growing up never dreamed she'd ever be able to won her own place.  We worked with her to make it happen.

Rockwood - 1 acre surrounded by State Forest on a dead-end road. Huge downstairs rooms, new sheetrock and heat throughout - y ou'd never believe the mess we found it in.   2 bath, 3BR, large shop/garage. The buyer moved here from Colorado.

Rural Grove - Open floor plan, 8 room, 2 bath home in a quiet hamlet sold to local family who are into dogs. We built a small addition here which made all the difference to make it a great home to live in. New floors, changes to the layout.

Charleston 4 Corners - large Victorian with a year's worth of remodeling, sold to an older first-time home buyer who'd moved to the area. New furnace, new well, new floors, sheetrock - we can keep going on about all the improvements. First home for a mature single lady.

Fonda - Classic Greek Revival, out in the country, big downstairs, very original 3-4BR, 2 baths, it feels like an old home is supposed to feel. Bought by a lady from the Capital District who raises Frenchies.

Fultonville - 1821 4000ft2 brick Colonial, 10 large rooms, very original. 2.5 baths, 5 BR, beautiful floors, walk-up attic, lots of history here.  After 2 years  of renovations, we sold it to an established family with older children at home. This may prove to be our crowning achievement.

Ft. Plain - 2 acres on a private road, 3Br, 2 bath doublewide remodeled to high standards. "The views don't stop". Sold to a local couple who had been routed out of their previous home, a trailer, by flooding. No chance of that here, plus now they have privacy and a home.

Carlisle -  former Grange, now a home, 3 BR, 2 baths, open floor plan, country views. Young couple wanted country life and easy access to jobs.

W. Winfield - 15 acres, like new 3 car garage, large pole barn, and a limestone home with an 80' long room (used to be a restaurant/commercial kitchen and a pond that never freezes, there is so much water flowing into it. Sold to a young couple  with a pastured poultry business.
