Fulton County lake
Fulton County, Home of 44 lakes – including the Great Sacandaga Lake with its 150 mile long shoreline. Also, the Adirondack State Park – largest park by far in the 48 States, either State or National. There are several State Forests and all kinds of boating, hunting & fishing, hiking & backpacking, bicycling (road & mountain), x-c & downhill skiing, snowmobiling & 4 wheeling, + State campgrounds. The southern section has some fine farmland. Visit Eagle Mills Cider Mill & Adirondack Family Fun Center, 7 golf courses, and various participatory performance venues. Fulton County is the southern terminus of the 100+ mile long Northville-Lake Placid Trail. We have several farmer’s markets, a community college, many dining and drinking opportunities, numerous public beaches and launch sites, a large variety of churches, several orchards, and an Amish community. There are Revolutionary re-enactments scheduled during the summer.
